How to Become an Edibles Chef

By Cheri Sicard

Dear Cheri,

I have always been interested in a career as a chef.  However after watching some TV shows where chefs were creating amazing looking gourmet edibles, I think it might be more fun to become an edibles chef.  So my question is, how does one become an edible chef who cooks gourmet foods with cannabis?

That’s an excellent question, especially as this is an emerging cannabis career that is going to be in HIGH demand (pun intended).

So, how to become an edibles chef?

Well first I would say become a chef.  It at least a darn good cook.  Whether self taught or by going to culinary school, knowing how to cook is half the battle in becoming an edibles chef.

Actually it's more than half!

Why?  Because once you learn the basic principles of how to cook with cannabis, the rest is just cooking! And since you were already considering a career as a chef, I am guessing you are probably already a pretty good cook.

Luckily learning the cannabis side of cannabis cooking is not nearly as difficult or far reaching as learning the culinary skills it takes to become a chef.

This is a shameless plug, but truly, my online comprehensive cannabis cooking course is the best way to fast track your cannabis cooking knowledge.

Learn how to

Cook with Cannabis.

Cannabis Cheri teaches you how to make great tasting, perfectly dosed edibles, every time!

After taking this course, you will be able to cook most any food you want and make it medicated.  Not only that, you will be able to perfectly and consistently dose your edibles, batch after batch.  And they will taste great too!

You don’t have to be a chef or wannabe chef to benefit from the course, but if you are just starting out and hope to have a career as an edibles chef, this can help you get there quickly.

Sure, there are a lot of free internet tutorials and YouTube videos.  But the vast majority of them are crap.

I am consistently astounded with the sheer volume of inaccurate and downright bad cannabis cooking information that proliferates the net.  And now with unscrupulous website owners letting AI robots write their content, the problem is only going to get worse.

How to become an edibles chef in 3 easy steps

  • #1 Learn culinary skills as any chef would.
  • #2 Learn the techniques involved with cooking with cannabis.
  • #3 Marry the two knowledge sets together, which is easy to do once you have the skills.

Enroll in my comprehensive online cannabis cooking course, and check #2 off the list!

Mitch Mandell started growing cannabis as a teenager after he and a friend built a small greenhouse. He's been cultivating cannabis ever since. Mitch has grown indoors and outdoors, hydroponically and in soil. He's done extensive experiments using both organic and chemical fertilizers, as well as no fertilizer at all (he doesn't recommend this). We are thrilled to add Mitch's decades of cultivation experience to cannabischeri.com.
