Dear Cheri,
Can you tell me how to make a small batch of weed butter? I'm just one person and I don't use edibles a lot, so it would be great to make a small amount of cannabis butter, say just enough for a single recipe. Do you have any advice?
Yes, I do. There is no problem in making just a small amount of cannabis butter. And know that this advice will also work when making cannabis infused oils too.
When it comes to how to make a small batch of cannabis butter you have options with or without special gadgets.
Making a small batch of cannabutter with the Mason jar Method
Here is one of my favorite ways to make marijuana butter, cannabis oil, infused milk, cream, etc. It's simple, inexpensive, versatile, and uses tools you probably already have in your kitchen. And as you can use a small jar and small amount of cannabis, it's easy to use this method for making just a small amount of infusion.

How to make a small batch of weed butter with a gadget
If you own the Ardent FX, Ardent Mini, or the POT by NOIDS, know that you can make small batches of infusion in them.
In the Ardent products, you just need to use a small jar, such as a baby food jar. Put your butter and decarbed cannabis into the jar, hit the infuse butter, and the machine does a lot.
The vessel in the POT by NOIDS is small enough that it would present no problem making a small batch of about 1/2 cup infusion.
These gadgets also perfectly decarboxylate your cannabis, taking away all the guesswork. The POT by NOIDS also makes FECO (full extract cannabis oil).
