The Ardent Mini is Ardent's replacement to the now discontinued Nova. Like its bigger brother the FX, the Mini can perfectly decarboxylate your cannabis with separate settings for CBD or THC, something the original Nova did not offer. And like the FX you can also make infusions like Cannabutter and Cannaoil in the Mini. And like the FX the Mini comes packaged in a nifty take along carry case.
All that said, if you are going to buy one of Ardent’s special gadgets, my recommendation is to skip the mini and but the Ardent FX instead. Sure it is a bit more expensive, but in the long run, I believe it will serve you better for a couple of different reasons.
First of all, true to its name, the Mini is small. Almost TOO small in my opinion. If you only ever want to cook with small amounts at a time it may serve you. But if you are going to invest a few hundred dollars in a gadget, I just think it is worth it to have the option to infuse larger amounts.

The other issue is that unlike the FX, which comes off its base for super easy cleaning, the Mini is all one piece.
You cannot submerge the Mini in water like you can the FX’s removable canister.
Another downside is that because of this, you can't infuse directly in the canister. You must must insert a silicone sleeve (an optional accessory that costs extra), or infuse in a small jar. While the jar method works well it does further reduce the size and amount of infusion you can make, down to about 1/2 cup.
The bottom line on the Ardent Mini
While the Mini is a good product that functions well, to my mind, these two factors, size and ease of cleaning, make it less than desirable. My advice would be to opt for the larger FX instead. Or if you also want to make FECO, check out the POT by NOIDS.
